Storefront (POI) Loyalty Program Promotion
Brief
Shopping mall placed two outdoor displays at entrances to promote loyalty program and connect to loyalty card owners before entering the mall. Systems can interact with users with QR code reader.
Situation analysis
As loyalty programs are becoming very useful tool for retailers’ aim of this project was to promote clients concept and establish engagement at the POI locations.
Solution
The idea of Carre De Soie, Lyon shopping mall, was very clear: ”Let us catch attention of visitors and give something to members of loyalty program”. To make sure medium will be useful outdoor digital signs were used, so visitors attention would be caught before entering into communication clutter of the mall. That is why client installed two large format touch interactive screens at the entrance with QR reader integrated. Public display by default promotes loyalty program, stores and services. When touch or QR code activated unique- to- the-user communication is established. For example, customer could get store location information or special offer. More clients, better connection at POI and lower churn.

Custom color imotion FLOW 47” full outdoor (sun exposed locations) and imotion LITE 46” portrait semi outdoor (no direct sun exposure) digital signs were used. Both screens are equipped with PCT touch screen, QR readers and anti-graffiti coating. Custom brochure rack on the side is used for print outs.
