Information LCD Displays for Quality Passenger Information

Brief
Siemens Slovenia installed 4 digital ceiling mount passenger information displays (PID) at new Divača train station waiting platform.

Situation analysis
Remodeled Divača railway station went for modern signage with LCD screens showing schedules at the outdoor waiting areas. Investment should improve passenger information quality and ease of its management.

Solution
Small waiting platform had to be equipped with four 55” high bright screens to cover whole area. PIDs were placed at the ceilings in groups of two. To save space and ease travelers visual contact with information display.

Public display
Siemens Slovenia chose imotion FLOW 55” landscape with 2.500 nit brightness. Screens were mounted together to display schedules n both directions. Due to importance of operation of such screens controlmotion FLOW technical management software enables remote health status check.
