The new pearl of the south of Serbia - "Empress’ City" Visitor Center

At Infinitus are excited to have partnered with Interactive Solutions Serbia in the digital transformation of the newly opened Visitor Center "Empress' City" in the Municipality of Lebane. As one of the key collaborators, our role was to provide outdoor digital signage solutions that enhance the visitor experience and promote the cultural richness of the Jablanica and Toplica districts.

Led by Interactive Solutions Serbia, the project focuses on interpreting the archaeological site Justiniana Prima and showcasing the region's natural beauty, local events, and unique gastronomic offerings. The Visitor Center, designed by KOD Studio and executed by DHC Engineering, merges modern architectural aesthetics with high-quality construction standards.

As a trusted outdoor digital signage partner, we contributed to the project by supplying our signature imotion interactive totems, featuring the imotion LITE in premium G7 design. Our interactive totems were selected for their ability to perform flawlessly while maintaining a sleek, modern appearance that complements the center’s architectural vision.

Interactive Solutions Serbia integrated a range of creative technologies into the center’s design, including:

  • imotion LITE interactive totems provides visitors with real-time access to information about the region’s historical sites, local events, and attractions, all through an intuitive and interactive platform.

  • Interactive object recognition table powered by DISPLAX, offering an engaging way for visitors to explore the area's cultural and historical significance.

  • A fully immersive Virtual Reality experience developed by #360Exploreit, bringing history to life through cutting-edge VR technology.

  • The visual identity and interpretive design elements were crafted by de:work studio, led by Goran Pandza and Filip Maric, ensuring a cohesive and engaging environment for visitors.

The "Empress' City" Visitor Center project, part of the Integral Development Program of Serbia, marks an important step in promoting southern Serbia as a leading destination for cultural and historical tourism.
