A real estate company modernized the looks and impression of the area with newly installed outdoor digital sign.

Situation analysis

Mustad Eiendom is a family-owned real estate company with clear focus on long term development and sustainability. They are well known developer in Oslo, with more than 150 years of tradition.

Their development plans were always directed in to the future. One of their digitalization processes is the digital transformation of info boards.

Busy area between the old airport at Fonebu and Oslo, close to all sorts of public transports (train and bus line on the south side and tram and subway on the north side), was a perfect spot for their first outdoor digital sign.

Solution

Real estate company was looking for a way to update communication with the tenants and other passers-by. They were looking for aesthetic solution, which was reliable and built of highest possible quality.

Based on the recommendation of respected installation company, they choose Infinitus, outdoor digital signage manufacturer with more than 15 years of experience and already proven solutions.

Double sided outdoor digital sign replaced a one-sided static pylon. This full outdoor totem is powered by imotion FLOW technology. This proven technology (used in more than 1000 locations) self-regulates cooling intensity (lowers fan noise and energy consumption) and has advanced diagnostics with automatic maintenance call and failure notifications (avoids regular “on-site” visits).

Purpose was both to display a map of the area, which can be changed when needed and to communicate messages about activities in the area, such as messages on rebuild work, public transport information and special events in the shopping mall. It goes without saying that this unit will both change the appearance and modernize the looks and impression of the area.

Totem is designed for direct sun exposed areas in temperature range of -25°C to +40°C, with robust IP56 enclosure.
