Becoming a Visible Part of the Smart City Movement

WE HAVE RETURNED FROM SMART CITY EXPO 2018, WHICH HAPPENS TO BE MOST IMPORTANT GATHERING OF YOUNG SMART CITY INDUSTRY.

A Smart City Barcelona 2018 Congress was filled with abundance of high-profile speakers representing most advanced cities and organizations such as world bank combined with an interesting mish mash of municipalities, transport companies, total smart city solution integrators and tech corporations such as Microsoft, Huawei and Deutsch telecom, also interested in these upcoming markets. Market perspective is one of main reasons so many countries such as Estonia, Austria and Israel had their own stands and helping smaller companies in their first steps.

It was a first-time experience for us at Infinitus too! We have participated at the event wanting to represent the idea of public urban furniture and how it fits within the concept of improving well-being of dwellers and makes public spaces better or at least better used.

What visitors could see at our booth was our TABLE way finder idea with printer and QR reader as well as our modern payphone booth and how its multi-functionality and aesthetics is very attractive option to replace obsolete existing payphone networks.
