Outdoor Digital Kiosk: Promote Products and Services
Brief
French retailer Auchan, with its brand Auchan Drive, installed four outdoor digital kiosks to promote products and services at the grocery reception area (POI).
Situation analysis
Client owns number of drive-in stores across the country and wanted to better use client “idle” dwell time when receiving ordered goods. They were looking for digital solution, which is weatherproof and has capable of running 24/7 operations. Interactive aspect and remote control were crucial.
Solution
With setting up of four outdoor digital kiosks per store they managed to, both, decrease perceived wait time and promote products and services at POI area. With 55” super high bright outdoor digital kiosks they invigorate environment and easily catch attention of clients waiting for ordered items.
Public display
Medium of choice for each store are two minimalistic custom colored imotion FLOW 55” portrait kiosk with 2.500 nit brightness that guarantees content visibility in high ambient light conditions. The idea was for outdoor digital kiosks to minimally interfere with the environment and have minimal amount of on-site activities.
