Digital Sign as an Investment in Differdange Community

Luxemburg city known as “The Iron City” has installed custom made outdoor digital sign to communicate with its citizens.

Situation analysis
Third largest city in Luxembourg Differdange was searching for effective and efficient method of communication with its citizens. They already had modern webpage and regular publications but this wasn’t enough. They wanted a modern solution to increase community involvement and make their town a more welcoming place to be. Answer to all their wishes was outdoor digital sign placed on a strategic place in the town.

Solution
Differdange turned to imotion digital signs to improve citizen and visitor’s awareness about the community, promote tourism, and keep the public informed. Outdoor LCD kiosk was placed in front of the town hall. Kiosk shares community messages, local news and events. Information is accessible 24 hours a day.

Remote access to the content and smart self-diagnostics of the unit (Controlmotion) makes maintenance easy. In that way digital sign makes life easier for both towns employees and its citizens.

Public display
Outdoor LCD digital sign imotion G6 46” Freestanding Landscape with custom finish, engraved logo and integrated AED device was installed in front of the town hall. Its advanced HVAC based thermal management is a guarantee for a long life time and superb performance of IP66 enclosed electronics.
