Promote Cultural Venues and Events With Outdoor LCD Signs

Brief
Client replaced old static advertising city light displays with couple of IP66 65” portrait double side public LCD screens and later added additional 75” screen due to positive experience. Network allowed them to messages about events, before entering and being confronted to information clutter.

Situation analysis
Wales Millennium Center is cultural hub and most visited location in whole Wales. Stepping into building can be overwhelming and delivering information to visitors obstructed. Marketing department, already satisfied with indoor digital signage, came to conclusion that very best moment to communicate with audience is right before the entrance. It was clear, old static “city light / MUPI” signage became obsolete due indoor digital signage, and general advantage of communication with high definition visual, playlist loops enabling more of communication and speed of its delivery to these outdoor posters. Awarded WMC facility management group had to make sure choice of solution will provide quality, long life time and support.

Solution
Replacing outdoor City Lights with two ultra high bright dual sided 65” digital LCD MUPI-s. It was important to connect them into existing indoor signage network for “painless” adoption of new technology. Highly noticeable screens managed to perform as planned so network was expanded in third year of operation with additional 75” system.

Public display
Two 5th generation imotion 65” portrait double side IP65 with integrated ultra high brightness 2.500 nit LCD panel, special anticorrosive treatment, anti-graffiti layer protecting system from artistic vandals and ambient light sensors. Systems are connected to internet via Wi-Fi access.

Additional unit is imotion G6 75” portrait double sided with similar set up and 2.500 nit luminance professional LCD panel.
